Lifestyle Factors

About Our Classes

LEAP! provides both in-person and online programs geared toward improving brain health. We currently offer two free courses: Our six-week Brain Health Boot Camp course and our four-week Mediterranean Diet course.

Mediterranean Diet Course: IN-PERSON

The Mediterranean diet is associated with reduced risk of Alzheimer's disease and slowed cognitive decline. In this four-week course, registered dietitian Rachel Sandoval will cover all the details of this brain-healthy eating pattern and provide plenty of easy cooking tips and tricks. This course includes weekly classes as well as lots of tasty recipes!

This program will take place in-person at KU's Clinical Research Center in Fairway, Kansas. We'll meet on Thursdays at 10:00 am. Our first class is on April 4, 2024! Click here to learn more and sign up.

SIGn Up
Brain Health Boot Camp

A free, six-week online course covering the fundamentals of a brain-healthy lifestyle. We'll explore nutrition, sleep, exercise, and more! This course features weekly interactive Zoom classes, bonus video lessons, and dozens of additional resources, including cheat sheets and goal-setting ideas.
